The Power of Asking Right

I almost didn’t get the chance to post today, but though last minute, it’s still worth it.

Today, I explored Law 6, where Steven Bartlett revealed a simple yet powerful psychological trick about asking instead of telling.

This trick can motivate you , help you form the right habits, and guide behaviors.

It’s like having a superpower that works on yourself and others!

Reflecting on this law, I’ve come up with some key points that stood out to me:

  1. Ask, Don’t Tell: By asking questions instead of giving orders, we can inspire action and influence behaviors in a positive way.
  2. Motivation: Asking questions can be a powerful tool to motivate ourselves and others to achieve goals and form healthy habits.
  3. Communication: Effective communication through asking questions fosters understanding, engagement, and collaboration.
  4. Empowerment: Asking empowers individuals to think for themselves, make decisions, and take ownership of their actions.

Now, let’s add some biblical wisdom to this mix:

  1. Proverbs 15:1: “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” This verse reminds us of the power of asking gently and respectfully, rather than commanding or demanding.
  2. Matthew 7:7: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” This verse emphasizes the importance of asking for what we need or desire, believing that we will receive.

In conclusion, the art of asking questions can unlock doors to inspiration, influence, and growth.

By incorporating this simple yet profound technique into our daily interactions, we can empower ourselves and others to reach new heights and achieve success.
