If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?

If I didn’t need sleep, imagine the possibilities.
I could finish assignments, work on my blog, explore new recipes, or even learn a new skill, all in the extra hours of the night.
You know that saying “if you snooze you loose” I guess this is it…right?
The world would be my oyster, and time would feel limitless.

But there was one day I actually lived that reality.
I spent 20 hours awake, pushing through tasks with no rest in sight. I kept brushing off downing down on caffeine every hour like drink ordinary water.
By the end, I felt like a malfunctioning robot drained, irritable, and unable to focus. My body ached, my mind was foggy, and even the simplest tasks felt impossible.
That’s when I realized: sleep isn’t just about the comfort of a warm bed or soft sheets. It’s a reset button a chance for your body and mind to recharge.
Even God, after creating the world, rested.
Sleep is not simply a luxury; it’s a necessity for living well and functioning at our best. Without it, all the extra time in the world wouldn’t be worth much.
