My Two Frenemies

What could you do less of?

Let’s be real, I could do less of my greatest two frenemies are overthinking and procrastinating.

First off, overthinking is like running on a treadmill: exhausting, but you’re still in the same place.

I’ll catch myself analyzing situations to death, only to realize later that I’ve missed the silver lining. It’s mentally draining and honestly not healthy.

Then there’s procrastination my forever frenemy.

I’ve battled with it for as long as I can remember.

Right now, for example, I have a to-do list staring me down, but I’ve convinced myself that writing this little story takes priority.

To get things done, I’ve had to resort to making plans, setting reminders (lots of them), and literally pushing myself through tasks.

Self-discipline, they say, is bittersweet. It’s hard to build, but when it sticks, the results are so worth it.

I’ll end here by adding this;

You don’t have to be perfect, but you can make progress. Start small, be consistent, and remind yourself that every step forward counts.

Even on the hard days, you’ve got this. Someone needed to remind you that and I’m glad I was able to do so. Cheers.
