Christmas is Finally Here🎄✨

See How I Plan to Spend This Festive Season?

First of all, Unbelievable! 😲 It’s already end of year.

Wow, it’s already been a year and six (almost seven) months since I moved to the UK.

Can you believe it? 😲

Last year, my festive season was filled with laughter, love, and fellowship.

I spent Christmas surrounded by friends from church, decked out in my red cozy winter coat because, you know, Christmas vibes and it was truly a beautiful, cozy moment.

Fast forward to now, and honestly?

My plans are a little… different. This year, I’ll be working on Christmas Day.

Yep, the 25th…that’s tomorrow.

But that’s life, right?

When I get back home, that night from work I plan to light some candles, make myself a warm cup of hot chocolate, maybe snack on some chocolates or make a charcuterie board with all my favourite snacks 🥰(midnight ice cream sounds tempting, but let’s be realistic it’s cold).

Then after I put my heater on, I’ll curl up in my duvet and watch a Netflix movie and just soak in the gratitude for seeing another year come to an end with peace.

Being away from home during the holidays isn’t easy. Christmas feels incomplete without family close by, but I’ve learned to adapt.

It’s not always about where you are but how you make the most of it.

I’ll be sharing more on how I spend life here as an international student in my upcoming post in my latest blog series from Diary of an International Student in the UK.

Stay tuned for the updates.

As we wrap up the year, I’m counting my blessings, naming them one by one. This season, I’m grateful to God for His faithfulness, for the challenges that have shaped me, and for every moment of joy.

What about you? How do you plan to make this festive season meaningful?

No matter where or how you’re celebrating, remember to count your blessings and cherish the little things. Each day is a gift, and every season brings something new to be thankful for.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you🤗🎄✨
