What Moments This Year Made You Feel Truly Alive, and How Can You Create More of Them?
Life isn’t all doom and gloom, and thankfully, I had a few “good breaks” this year too.
I know, I know yesterday I shared how this year was packed with challenges, obstacles, and more “bad breaks” than I’d like to admit.
But today, let’s flip the coin.
Here it goes…Day 2
Let me tell you about one that left me feeling so alive, so energized it’s honestly unforgettable. It was during the Hallelujah Challenge with Nathaniel Bassey.
Nothing fancy, no lavish outings, no expensive dinners just me, my iPad, and my little prayer corner.
It was just one evening, turned on my iPad, and tuned in to Instagram, and joined the Hallelujah Challenge that was going on live. Yes I worshipped, and prayed my heart out.
There’s something about being in God’s presence that is simply unmatched. It’s like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. My spirit felt revived, my energy renewed, and suddenly, life felt brighter.
Another time that stood out was when I organized a 5-Day Bible plan with about 15-20 people.
To my surprise, everyone participated from start to finish, sharing insights and encouraging each other.
That sense of community, combined with diving into God’s Word, was so fulfilling. It reminded me how powerful it is to spend time not just reading but meditating and dwelling in His presence.
Here’s the thing, when I say “being in God’s presence,” I don’t mean just being in church. You can sit in a pew every Sunday and still feel far away from Him.
But when you intentionally invite the Holy Spirit into your space whether it’s through worship music, prayer, or simply meditating on His Word, it’s transformative.
As the Bible says in Hebrews 4:12, “The word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow.”
That’s exactly how I felt renewed, alive, and ready to take on anything.
This wasn’t about material things or spending money (though those moments have their place too).
It was about something deeper something that truly fed my soul. Moments like these make me want to create more time for fellowship with God, more intentional breaks to pause, reflect, and recharge my spirit.
What about you? What moments this year made you feel truly alive, and how do you plan to create more of them in the future?
If by any chance you forget all I mentioned above, remember this: True joy often comes from the simplest, most intentional moments.
Make time for what matters whether it’s spending time with God, nurturing relationships, or pursuing your passions. These are the moments that feed your soul and remind you of what’s truly important.
