It’s a beautiful morning, and honestly, I’m just grateful to be alive. Grateful to sit here and write to you.
Yesterday…oh, the 1st of January, mind you, it rained where I was somewhere in England.
And you know how we Christians get with rain on New Year’s Day, right? We call it…
Trust me, if it’s a superstitious belief, trust me…that’s the only “superstition” I want to cling to, thank you very much.
So, rain fell, and it was lovely. But fast forward to today…the 2nd…and bam, frost! 🥶
Like, where did all the “blessings” go? What comes next on the 3rd of January? A snowstorm? A meteor shower? Nobody knows, but we move.
Anyway, last night, I decided to prepare myself. I layered up like I was auditioning for a winter survival documentary. I walked out warm and cozy this morning, ready to face the frost and feeling a bit smug about it, if I’m honest.
But here’s the thing, as I was walking, I noticed this thing I’ve been thinking about for quite sometime now
You know, that so-called “smoke-like stuff” that escapes your mouth when it’s cold?
Turns out, that apparently, it’s called visible breath.
Fancy name for what’s basically just your own warm air turning into tiny water droplets because the cold outside is rude like that.
And you know what?
I was oddly fascinated by this. It’s so petty, yet it felt good to learn.
Like, isn’t it amazing how even the smallest petty things can teach us something?
You’re never too old or too cold…to learn.😂😅
So here’s my question for you: What’s something small you’ve been ignoring, but maybe, just maybe, it’s trying to teach you something?
Just an ordinary yapping… with myself but it just made sense to share it with you…
