Solo Travel Diaries:📍Bath…🥳

Well, today marks Day 1 of my trip to Bath, and let me just say it’s been quite the experience already.

Yesterday, I arrived safely, and yes, the city is as beautiful as I imagined.

The Airbnb I booked? Stunning.

The view from my window is like something straight out of a postcard.

But, oh, the weather? Let’s just say “chilly” is an understatement. It feels like winter is personally mocking me.

The train ride, though? Exhausting. I spent 2 hours and 30 minutes on that train to Bath Spa station from Stoke-on-Trent. Solo travel on trains is its own adventure, especially when the Wi-Fi decides to ghost you. Netflix and chill?

Not happening. And let’s not even talk about the fluctuating network that turns downloading into a nightmare.

For a moment, I thought I’d made peace with silence, but nope thank goodness for my iPad, music playlists, and window views.

At least I got to enjoy nature and take some content-worthy videos for TikTok and my vlog.

Oh, and thank heavens I fried chicken thighs and wings before leaving home. That lifesaving snack bowl? A genius move.

Trust me, nothing hits harder than homemade chicken when you’re trying to recharge from a tiring journey.

Now that I’m here, the day feels like it’s dragging. Maybe it’s because I’ve had too much downtime since arriving.

Or perhaps my body just hasn’t adjusted to this new rhythm. Whatever it is, I’m already sleepy. How does that even happen so early? It’s like my brain and body are in two different time zones. Crazy.

So, here I am, reflecting on the day and trying to soak it all in.
