I know this title may sound weird but stay with me alright…
Listen, I used to be so utterly terrified of failure.
Honestly, the idea or even the thought of messing up, falling short, or not meeting expectations…
Felt like the worst thing that could happen to me.
So, I played it safe for as long as I could.
I stuck to what I knew I could do well. And guess what? I stayed exactly where I was stuck.
Then, I met a someone who completely changed my perspective. He told me, “Failure isn’t the opposite of success it’s part of it.” That hit me hard.
Every successful person I admired had failed a lot.
But instead of seeing failure as an end, they saw it as a lesson, a stepping stone, a necessary part of growth.
John Maxwell said, “Fail early, fail often, but always fail forward.” And now? I embrace failure.
Not because it’s fun (trust me it’s not), but because it’s powerful. It teaches, stretches, and pushes us forward.
So, if you’re afraid to fail, let me remind you failure isn’t where your story ends. It’s where growth begins.
Hope this helps you look at failure in another perspective. Here’s to hoping for the best…Cheers🥂
