I used to admire people who seemed to have it all success, influence, respect.
But what I didn’t see? The sacrifices they made to get there.
Someone I hold in high esteem once told me, “You can’t have success without sacrifice.”
And I saw it firsthand.
At least for a fact, I know that the best leaders, the ones who make the biggest impact, don’t just work hard for themselves they give, serve, and sacrifice for others.
They give up comfort for growth, ease for excellence, and themselves for the greater good.
John Maxwell mentioned in his book that true leadership isn’t about what you gain it’s about what you give up.
And that makes so much sense and it stuck with me.
Because if we want to lead, grow, and make a difference, we have to be willing to put others before ourselves.
So, if I where to ask you, what are you willing to sacrifice to become the person you’re meant to be?
Because real leadership? It’s not about taking it’s about giving.
