I’ll never forget the leader who saw something in me before I ever saw it in myself. She didn’t just give me tasks she gave me confidence.
She didn’t just tell me I was doing well she reminded me I had what it takes.
That experience taught me that,
True leadership isn’t about pushing people. It’s about lighting a fire within them.
Motivation isn’t something we force it’s something we inspire.

So, how do you instill motivation?
1. Believe in people even before they believe in themselves.
2. Celebrate effort, not just results. Motivation grows when people feel valued, not just productive.
3. Connect their work to a bigger purpose. When people see the “why,” the “what” becomes more meaningful.
Motivation isn’t a one-size-fits-all.
It requires care. It takes consistency.
But when people feel truly motivated from within? They show up with heart, with hustle and with hope.
