Create a Memory and Visit It Often

I remember one moment so clearly, sitting in an almost quiet room, reflecting on a personal breakthrough. The sun was setting, soft music was playing in the background, It was at that moment, that I sensed the felt peace and clarity like never before. That memory became essential for me.

In today’s reading of “The MAXWELL DAILY” a very insightful book I’ve been reading for some time now, John Maxwell encourages us to:

Create a memory and visit it often.”

Life moves fast. Such that we can forget how far we’ve come, how much we’ve grown, or what we’ve already overcome. But our memories especially those defining ones can anchor us. They can pull us back into purpose when we drift.

Here’s how I use my “memory anchors”:

I use them,

1. To remind myself who I am when doubt creeps in.

2. To refocus when I feel overwhelmed or off-course.

3. To stay grateful for the journey.

You don’t have to wait for a milestone. Even a quiet, personal win is worth capturing. Write it down. Reflect on it. Let it fuel you.

Because your most meaningful memories aren’t just moments they’re motivation.
