“God doesn’t play dice.”🎲

This phrase “God doesn’t play dice” is often attributed to Albert Einstein and is used to express the idea that the universe operates according to order and rules, rather than randomness or chance. His intent was to convey his belief that there is a fundamental order and structure to the universe and that events are not purely the result of random chance.

In a broader sense, the phrase suggests that there is a purpose or design behind the natural phenomena and events that occur in the universe. It reflects his view that there are underlying principles and laws governing the universe’s behaviour, which he famously sought to uncover through his work in theoretical physics.

Ultimately, I could say that this phrase simply means there is always a purpose for everything. That brings me to give you in details about my personal experience of being in the shadows.

Feeling like I was riding on a dark cloud, everything else was silent, I saw myself struggling, with how to do the things that seemed quite easy and simple to do.

Amid all these struggles, I was gradually losing hope. I tried reading self-help books but it just wasn’t adding up to help me as it should as over time I discovered that it wasn’t what I needed.

One fateful day, after a sermon in church it hit me that my life doesn’t belong to me, it’s God’s property and he chooses to do with me whatever he pleases, whenever he feels.

Upon realizing that I was forced to take charge of my life all by my lonesome, I forgot who was really in charge of my life. So with this cleared-out understanding, I decided to pick up the remaining pieces of my life, dropped everything else I was chasing and fix my gaze on him.

With him, you can clearly understand the significance of life and that in my uniqueness I could set paths and raise standards for others like me to follow. He made me understand my purpose in life should and must align with his plans for my life.

What should you take back from this…?

The story conveys several important lessons:

  1. Perseverance through Struggles: This simply describes my struggles and feelings of inadequacy, emphasizing that even seemingly simple tasks felt difficult. This highlights the common experience of facing challenges and self-doubt on the journey towards personal growth.
  2. Seeking External Solutions: The attempt to find answers in self-help books underscores the inclination to seek guidance and solutions from external sources. However, the realization that these resources didn’t provide the needed help suggests that inner understanding and guidance are crucial.
  3. Recognizing Surrender and Purpose: The turning point occurred when I was able to internalise the idea that my life belonged to a higher purpose and that I needed to relinquish control to that higher power (God). This lesson is about recognizing the importance of surrendering to something greater and aligning with a higher purpose.
  4. Taking Responsibility: The realization that life is in my hands pushes me to take charge of their own destiny. This shows the importance of self-empowerment and recognizing personal agency.
  5. Faith and Focus: The decision to fix my gaze on God indicates a shift in focus from external sources to a more internal, spiritual foundation. This speaks to the significance of faith and finding strength through a higher power which is Christ Jesus.
  6. Uniqueness and Leadership: Understanding that one’s uniqueness can lead to setting paths and standards for others highlights the potential impact of embracing one’s individuality and using it to inspire and lead by example.

Ultimately, I hope I was able to convey a few lessons from my story about my journey of self-discovery, the power of surrendering, understanding the supremacy of Christ and the importance of finding meaning and purpose in life through faith and embracing your uniqueness.
