Embracing Flaws and Uniqueness

What is one thing you would change about yourself?

…Absolutely nothing!

I believe someone has asked me this question before, and my immediate response was, “Absolutely nothing!” Why would I? Changing anything about myself would erase the very things that make me unique.

I mean, I could have an identical twin, and you’d still be able to tell us apart because of some special, unique trait embedded deep within me. Trust me, it’s that obvious.

Honestly, I wouldn’t even encourage anyone else to change themselves.

To be honest, you need to be unapologetically grateful for who you are and what you have it’s only then that you can truly grow into the best version of yourself.

But, hey say I put the sarcasm aside for a moment.

If I had to pick one thing though, it would probably be my tendency to overthink.

Urghh…it can be seriously exhilarating.

I’m a master of turning small situations into full-blown scenarios in my head plot twists and all. It’s exhausting, really. It’s like my brain is a TV with 100 channels, and every single one is on full volume.

I’ve been working on it, though.

Learning to let things flow, breathe, and take life one step at a time.

It’s a work in progress, but hey, no one’s perfect, right?

And maybe that’s the one thing I’d remind anyone asking this question: embrace the flaws they’re just as much a part of your story as the wins.🥰

  1. I used to want to change things about myself so bad. But then I asked myself, God created me with certain qualities and as I began to thank Him for them, I began to appreciate them and be content. As for the others that can be fixed like my attitude at times, weight and other temporary things, I trust Him for guidance
