Finding Strength and Balance Through Physical Activities

What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?

Physical activities have always been a mix of fun and therapy for me.

I love swimming it’s like washing away stress with every stroke.

Back in school, I dabbled in ballet, and though I wasn’t pirouetting across a stage, it taught me balance and poise.

PS: the only thing I still remember to do is to stand on my toes…😂 and do the table pose

Then there’s pool it’s a skill I picked up that’s surprisingly therapeutic; there’s just something about the quiet focus it requires.

Cooking and baking?

Definitely up there too, though I might burn a few calories while multitasking in the kitchen.

And walking in the park?

Unmatched for clearing my head after a tough day.

Lately, I’ve added gym sessions to my routine partly because the treadmill doesn’t complain when I rant in my head and partly because I’ve heard it’s great for mental health.

No pain – no gain…huh…😂

Weightlifting, running, and just being in that space have been a refreshing way to shake off the cold and difficult situations.

Remember, it’s not about being perfect or doing it all just start where you are.

Every step you take, whether in a park or on a treadmill, is a step toward a stronger, healthier you.
