Trusting Instincts

Are you a good judge of character?

Well, I’d like to think I am but then again, doesn’t everyone? Honestly, it’s a tricky question because no one’s perfect at reading people.

But if I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m careful, observant, and pragmatic, which naturally lends itself to being a decent judge of character.

I don’t just jump to conclusions about people; I prefer to take my time and observe their actions, consistency, and follow-through.

After all, words can only tell you so much it’s behavior that reveals the real story.

Because I value reliability and integrity, I pay attention to the little details that others might overlook.

How do they treat people who can’t do anything for them?

Do their actions match their promises?

These things often tell me more about someone than their polished words ever could.

Of course, I’ve made mistakes haven’t we all?

Sometimes, you think you’ve got someone figured out, only to find out later you were completely off.

But those experiences have only sharpened my instincts and taught me to trust my gut more often than not.

What about you? Do you trust your instincts when it comes to judging character?

Remember, everyone has layers, and no one is perfect. Take your time to observe and reflect before forming conclusions.

Trust your instincts, but also leave room for growth and grace people often surprise us in the best ways.
