The Only Gift That Matters…

What is the greatest gift someone could give you?

I’m seeing this question with a smirk on my face and I think about for a split second and all I can say is “Time.” But not the cheap kind.”

You know, the kind where you’re physically present but mentally off in a different galaxy?

Yeah, keep that.

What I’m talking about is real quality time, the kind where we dive into conversations that matter, the kind that leaves me feeling energized, inspired, and maybe even a little changed.

Growing up to understand the value of time and now I value time so much that I can’t stand when it’s wasted.

Small talk? Nope.

Aimless chatter? Hard pass.

Life is short, and every minute counts.

It’s rather fair at least that if we’re going to spend time together, let’s make it worthwhile.

I want to hear your deepest thoughts, your craziest dreams, the things that make your soul spark.

Otherwise, what are we even doing here?

And trust me, I practice what I preach in this regard.

When I’m with someone, I’m with them.

No half-hearted attention, no divided focus.

But if I can’t give you my best, I won’t bother at all because wasting someone’s time feels as bad as wasting mine.

So, my greatest gift? It’s quality time, undivided attention, and conversations that matter.

Now the real question here to you is:

Are you spending your time wisely with the right people, in the right moments? Or wasting it aimlessly?

Are they bring out greatness in me, or do I still find myself falling back to past glory and no hope for the future?

Think about it. It’s worth pondering about…

Even God values quality time spent with him as we meditate, pray and search the scriptures…

Time is the only thing we can’t get back, so make every second count. You deserve nothing less.
