Healthy Dinner Idea – #1

I’ve been on a 16-8 intermittent fasting, so some days now, I’m trying to discipline myself and eat clean, low-carb, high protein meals if possible and do more detoxing.

So I begin with a cup of green tea with 1tbsp of ACV and honey in the morning on an empty stomach, then get to eat only a meal by 6pm, if I’ve been busy all day but for this I get to either eat once or twice a day, but I choose to eat once and snack on nuts like (cashew or almonds) and drink lots of water or herbal tea.

For today, here is what I made…

✨Salmon- Garlic White Sauce- Spinach-Rocket Salad and Grilled Miniature Potatoes…

(PsssttI hope by now you know I am a foodie who loves cooking…😂😮‍💨🤌)

All from scratch… especially the garlic white sauce

Full Recipe:


Place lard or cooking butter in a non-stick pan, place Salmon (seasoned with salt, black pepper & dried thyme), fry or sear for 3-5mins on both sides, remove from the pan, in the same pan, add sliced onions stir for 2 mins, add the spinach and rocket salad add 1 seasoning cube or a pinch of salt to taste, stir for 2-3mins on low heat.

For the Garlic White Sauce;


Place 6-7 cloves of garlic, 1/2 thumb size of ginger, dried rosemary, salt, ACV, vegetable oil, and Elmlea double cooking cream and blend till smooth, then add finely chopped fresh parsley and mix with spoon and place in the fridge to cool.

Grilled Miniature Potatoes;


Get miniature potatoes, wash very well with salt or vinegar unpeeled, place in a bowl add salt to taste, dried parsley, powdered chilli pepper, and mix then pour into grill pan add cooking butter and mix. Place in the pre-heated oven at 200 degrees (for 15-20mins) till crispy brown.

Plate accordingly and enjoy 😉

That’s it, very simple, quick and easy. Cook time about 45mins-1hr (including prepping and grilling).
