What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?
For me, maintaining my health and well-being is about balance and intention.
I try to keep it simple and sustainable.
Sometimes, I follow intermittent fasting (16:8), stay mindful of what I eat (especially portion control), and include home-cooked, nutritious meals mostly inspired by African dishes.
Sometimes mostly salad and fruits.
It’s giving vegan shiiii😂😂😭

I’ve also shared some healthy meals I’ve made for myself on here with you…
I also try to walk more outdoors during this summer and if I don’t I use the treadmill…

My fitness tracker asked if I did 10,000 steps today…
So I walked back and forth from the fridge until it gave up.
and drink lots of water and herbal teas.
P.s: I have some herbal tea recipes at my disposal if you’d like me to share for you to try them…

Well lately, my mental health routine includes prayer, herbal tea, and ignoring calls I don’t have the energy for.

Spiritually, my faith keeps me grounded; spending time with God, praying, and reading the Bible, or an interesting Daily Plan on the Bible App brings me peace.

Some days, I open my Bible for “just one verse”…
Next thing you know, I’m deep in Revelation, repenting, and planning my whole life again. 😅
Truth is, Bible study hits different when you realize that verse was talking directly to you.
Like… okay God, I hear you 👀🙌
Even on stressful days, I protect my mental space by setting boundaries, resting when needed, and staying away from negativity.
I enjoy peace over chaos. I try my best each day to stay away from it far away as my legs can take me.
Health to me is holistic…body, mind, and soul.

I too will implement this, but everytime I think I will do, I don’t do!😭 . Due to which , I have gained weight 4kgs
