🌸 September Newsletter – Perseverance Gets Results 🌸

Beloved,

First I want to take a moment to wish you Happy new month. I’m glad you made it through last month. I pray this meets you in peace and hope as we step into September together. Each new month comes with a fresh page, a chance to reset, and a reminder that God’s mercies are new every morning.

This morning, as I turned the calendar to September 1st, I stumbled on a devotional reading that caught my heart: “Perseverance Gets Results.”

It reminded me of a personal story. There was a season in my life when I prayed earnestly for a breakthrough. Day after day, I asked God to turn things around, but nothing seemed to change. Honestly, I grew weary. Like the man in Luke 11:8, I felt like giving up and going home because my “friend” didn’t come to the door quickly enough.

But what I didn’t realize then and what this reading highlights so powerfully is that perseverance in prayer is not about trying to change God’s mind. His mind is already made up: He wants all of us saved, free, and walking in His will. Perseverance, instead, is about pushing back against the forces that resist His purpose. It’s about not letting discouragement win when results don’t show up immediately.

As I reflect, I see how many times I almost missed my blessings because I gave up too soon. But God, in His mercy, taught me that my role is to keep pressing in, keep interceding, and keep believing.

Lessons for Today

God’s will is already for our good. We are not begging Him to change His mind but aligning ourselves with His promises. Perseverance is power. It breaks through resistance and creates room for God’s purposes to manifest. Don’t quit too early. Immediate results don’t always show, but persistence will bring fruit in due time.

That said, as we step into this new month, may you carry with you the strength to persevere. Whatever you’ve been trusting God for whether it’s a breakthrough, healing, or the salvation of a loved one don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. Keep pressing on, because perseverance gets results.

May September be your month of answered prayers, renewed hope, and fresh testimonies… 🌸
